Job Responsibilities 

Customer & Business Development


  • Identify and develop potential sustainable customer relationships
  • Maintain strong existing customer relations
  • Create and monitor a sales lead pipeline
  • Promote digital tools to customers for sales-related activities (e.g., Ecu 360, EDI for big accounts)
  • Promote door-to-door and other value-added services to customers


  • Provide local market-specific advice and information to Sales Management to facilitate business performance review and evaluation
  • Support sales management in devising, fine-tuning, and implementing overall sales and marketing strategies and directives
  • Drive market profiling and customer/competitor research and analysis activities to understand and identify market opportunities and challenges
  • Use available digital tools such as CRM/Sales App to optimize sales and marketing efforts
  • Develop focus trade lanes with a view to starting new services or adding more services to existing trade lanes
  • Facilitate day-to-day discussions related to business with colleagues in network countries
  • Adhere to set sales KPI

Staff Management

  • Foster a high-performance services culture within the department
  • Plan, organize, and direct efficient and effective functional departments
  • Monitor individual performance
  • Conduct performance appraisals
  • Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Global, Regional, and Country objectives and targets
  • Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Logistics Management, or a related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in Freight Forwarding
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Possess good leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage sales teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Possess sales skills, good personality, strong relationship, and service mind
  • Computer literate
  • Own a car
